day twelve

Up, Down.

Bob DylanWell, the last I heard of Arab, he was stuck on a whale
That was married to the deputy-sheriff of the jail.

        Bob Dylan's 115th Dream.

i had a bike in my younger days, a Triumph 650, fast enough ... and one night riding the Lakeshore Road with ?? on the back i ran over a cat, got him square in the middle, stopped & went back, the cat was in a gateway half-underneath the iron gate and looked up at me with bared fangs, a savagery i have always since associated with death

Carl DouglasEverybody was kung-fu fighting
Those cats were fast as light'ning
In fact it was a little bit fright'ning
But they fought with expert timing.
        Carl Douglas.

"Haul on the bowline," we sang that melody,
Like all tough sailors do when they're far away at sea.

Down.
